Who are we?

We are here to help you find effective solutions.

We provide specialist services for all those affected by dyslexia and specific learning difficulties, including dyspraxia, dyscalculia and attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder, ADHD.

We are a team of specialist psychologists, SpLD teacher assessors, job coaches and tutors, all highly trained and experienced.  All assessors hold current practising certificates.

Katherine Kindersley is the founder and professional Director of Dyslexia Assessment and Consultancy, a provider of quality assessment services for secondary, further and higher education and the workplace.

She is the co-author of Dyslexia Assessing and Reporting, The Patoss Guide, 2nd Edition, published by Hodder Education, a highly regarded professional book (‘…an excellent book!..’ Professor Maggie Snowling, St John’s College, Oxford).

She is a contributing author to Dyslexia in the Workplace: An introductory guide, published by Wiley.

Katherine is a member of the Board of Directors of the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) and is passionate about improving and developing assessment standards across the UK.  She is also experienced in legal work and is a qualified expert witness.

Our offices are based in Central London, Kennington, close to Waterloo and Vauxhall rail / underground stations and on many bus routes within short distances of Vauxhall, Lambeth and Westminster bridges.

The Centre comprises a complex of offices and consulting rooms located in a pleasant and peaceful garden.

The office is managed by Sandra Richardson and Sandra will be your first point of contact.
